UltraClear® Deep Rejuvenation

Our most intensive UltraClear® treatment pathway for more advanced facial ageing, deeper wrinkles, skin redundancy, scars and visible effects of gravity. Using the 2910 nm cold fibre laser, advanced resurfacing can be combined with Fiber-Enabled Laser-Coring™ to create precisely controlled microscopic channels at greater depth, stimulating tissue contraction and longer-term remodelling with a typical recovery of around 5–10 days.

UltraClear® Deep Rejuvenation — from £[insert price]You may eventually want separate pricing for:• Full Face Advanced Resurfacing• Full Face + Neck• Laser-Coring™ targeted areas• Periorbital / Perioral Advanced Treatment• Acne or Surgical Scar TreatmentThe final price should reflect the treatment area, intensity and whether Laser-Coring™ is incorporated.

What it is and how it works

UltraClear® Deep Rejuvenation is the most intensive of our three UltraClear treatment levels. It is intended for people with more advanced signs of ageing or scarring where a superficial Laser Facial or moderate fractional resurfacing is unlikely to provide sufficient correction. UltraClear’s advanced treatment level is designed for concerns including deep wrinkles, scars, redundant skin and visible effects of gravity, including selected jawline and neck concerns. Treatment can combine deeper fractional resurfacing with Fiber-Enabled Laser-Coring™, allowing the clinician to address different layers and different concerns within an individualised rejuvenation plan. This is still a non-surgical treatment. It should not be presented as a replacement for a facelift, neck lift or other surgery where substantial tissue repositioning is required.

What it may help with

• Most intensive UltraClear treatment pathway
• Designed for deeper wrinkles and advanced signs of ageing
• Can address selected scars and more substantial textural change
• Can target visible effects of gravity and selected areas of skin redundancy
• Can incorporate Fiber-Enabled Laser-Coring™
• Allows treatment depth, pattern and coverage to be customised
• Can combine coring with other UltraClear resurfacing modes
• Initiates longer-term collagen remodelling after the initial healing period
• Provides a non-surgical option for appropriately selected patients who want more correction than conventional fractional resurfacing

Suitable for

UltraClear® Deep Rejuvenation may be considered for adults with deeper wrinkles, more advanced photoageing, selected scars, more significant textural change or visible age-related skin redundancy. It may also be considered for selected jawline, submental or neck concerns where the clinician believes advanced resurfacing or Laser-Coring™ could provide meaningful improvement. The treatment is not suitable for everyone and is not equivalent to surgical lifting. Where significant jowling, neck laxity, tissue descent or excess skin is predominantly structural, surgery may provide a more appropriate or predictable correction. The consultation should therefore determine not simply whether UltraClear can be performed, but whether it is likely to meet the patient’s actual goals.

Areas treated

Depending on clinical assessment and training, advanced treatment may include:
• Full face
• Periorbital / eye area where appropriate
• Perioral / mouth area
• Cheeks
• Jawline
• Submental area
• Neck
• Selected scarred areas
• Other face or body areas appropriate for Laser-Coring™
Different areas may receive different depths and treatment modes during the same overall procedure.

What happens on the day

Advanced UltraClear treatment requires a detailed consultation and treatment plan. We assess skin type, degree of ageing, wrinkles, laxity or redundancy, scarring, pigmentation, medical history, previous procedures and your tolerance for downtime. Appropriate anaesthesia and comfort measures are selected according to the intensity and areas being treated. Protective eyewear is required. The clinician can combine different UltraClear modes and selectively use Laser-Coring™ in areas requiring deeper treatment. Laser-Coring™ parameters including channel depth, pattern and coverage can be adjusted. UltraClear states that Laser-Coring™ can be performed rapidly, with treatment times around 30 minutes for appropriate procedures, although total appointment time varies substantially according to the treatment plan. Detailed post-procedure care is provided because this treatment creates a significantly greater wound-healing response than the Laser Facial or moderate resurfacing.

Downtime and Aftercare

UltraClear currently describes approximately 5–10 days of social downtime for its advanced treatment level, including Laser-Coring™. Redness, swelling, warmth and tenderness are expected after treatment. The skin may subsequently become dry, rough, bronzed, crusted or peel as healing progresses. The visible recovery period varies with treatment depth, coverage, anatomical area and individual healing response. Residual redness can persist beyond the initial period in some patients. Post-treatment skincare and sun protection are particularly important. You will receive detailed instructions about cleansing, moisturising, activity, sun exposure and symptoms requiring clinical review. This treatment should be scheduled with sufficient recovery time before important events.

Risks and side effects

Expected effects include redness, swelling, warmth, tenderness, crusting, dryness and peeling. Potential complications of advanced ablative treatment include prolonged erythema, infection, acne or inflammatory eruptions, reactivation of herpes simplex, delayed healing, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, hypopigmentation, persistent textural change and scarring. Laser-Coring™ creates deeper microscopic channels and therefore requires appropriate training, anatomical knowledge, patient selection and aftercare. Pigmentary risk remains an important consideration despite the reduced residual heat of the 2910 nm platform. Skin type, previous pigmentation problems, tanning and post-treatment UV exposure must be considered. The risks increase with treatment intensity and depth, so the balance between desired correction and acceptable recovery is discussed carefully before treatment.

Contraindications

Advanced resurfacing may need to be avoided or postponed in patients with active infection or inflammation, recent tanning or substantial UV exposure, impaired wound healing, certain medical conditions, relevant medicines or other factors increasing procedural risk. A history of cold sores, abnormal scarring, pigmentary complications, previous laser reactions, recent aesthetic procedures and active skincare should be reviewed. Pregnancy or breastfeeding and other relevant medical circumstances will also be considered. Because this is the most intensive UltraClear pathway, patient selection and realistic expectations are particularly important.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Fiber-Enabled Laser-Coring™ uses UltraClear’s 2910 nm fibre laser to ablate precise microscopic channels of tissue. Channel pattern, coverage and depth can be adjusted. Unlike mechanical tissue-coring approaches, UltraClear describes the technology as requiring no needles, cartridges, scalpels or sutures. It can be combined with other UltraClear modes as part of an advanced resurfacing plan.

No. It is a non-surgical laser treatment and should not be considered equivalent to surgical lifting. It may improve deeper wrinkles, texture and selected signs of skin redundancy or gravity, but it does not surgically reposition deeper facial tissues. Where substantial jowling, neck laxity or tissue descent is present, surgical assessment may be more appropriate.

UltraClear currently describes approximately five to ten days of social downtime for advanced treatment including Laser-Coring™. Recovery varies according to depth, coverage, area and individual healing. Redness can persist beyond the initial peeling or crusting phase in some patients.

The skin begins to look better as it heals, but the final result is much slower. UltraClear describes progressive collagen remodelling over approximately three to six months, with peak improvement in texture, tone and laxity around that period. Advanced treatment should therefore be judged over months rather than days.
